Der Workshop „Photographieren für den Wandel!“ lädt junge Menschen ein, die an dem sehr populären Medium Photographie interessiert sind.
Im Rahmen des Workshops wirst du diverse Genres der Photographie kennenlernen z.B. Dokumentar-Photographie und verschiedene gestalterischen und künstlerischen Möglichkeiten der Photographie.
In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Katharina Mouratidi (www.mouratidi.de) wird während des Workshops ein Konzept entwickelt, was auf den vier Themen der Konferenz basiert: Ökonomie / Technologie, Ökologie / Umwelt, Gesellschaft / Staat und Kultur / Philosophie. Dies wird mit der professionellen Unterstützung der Dozentin in kleinen Gruppen photographisch umgesetzt.
Im Idealfall würde sich im Rahmen des Workshops ein Team aus Teilnehmern bilden, was daran interessiert ist, die „sichtbare“ Nachfolge der Konferenz auf längere Zeit zu übernehmen. Sodass die entstandenen Photographien und Serien z.B. den Inhalt einer Ausstellungen im öffentlichen Raum in Bonn bilden, auf Anschlagtafeln zusehen sind und für Inserate- und Medienauftritte verwendet werden können.
Bitte bringe für den Workshop eine Kamera oder Smartphone mit, und wenn möglich auch ein Notebook mit einem Bildbearbeitungsprogramm.

Katharina Mouratidi
Katharina Mouratidi, geb. 1971, lebt als freischaffende Fotografin und Künstlerin in Berlin. Ihre Arbeiten wurden europaweit publiziert, sie sind in zahlreichen Sammlungen vertreten und waren bereits in vielen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen weltweit zu sehen, darunter: Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn (Deutschland), FotoFest Houston (USA), George Eastman House (USA), Lianzhou Photography Festival (China), Thessaloniki Museum of Photography (Griechenland), Museo de Arte Moderna Rio de Janeiro (Brasilien), Primavera Fotografica (Spanien). Seit 2009 lehrt Katharina Mouratidi an verschiedenen Einrichtungen, darunter der Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie sowie der Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee. 2011 hatte sie dort eine Gastprofessur im Fachbereich Visuelle Kommunikation. Sie ist Gründungsmitglied der Gesellschaft für Humanistische Fotografie und seit Anfang 2008 deren Geschäftsführerin. Ihr aktuelles Buch „Bescheidene Helden“ ist 2012 im Kehrer Verlag erschienen.

Seminar Katharina Mouratidi Ostkreuzschule Berlin, 2012
This workshop aims to address young people interested in the highly popular medium photography. In the framework of the workshop, you will be introduced to diverse genres of photography such as documentary photography and artistic practice. In close collaboration with photographer Katharina Mouratidi (www.mouratidi.de) you will develop a coherent concept for a photographic project, based on one of the four pillars of sustainability: Economy/ Technology, Ecology/ Environment, Society/ State/ Social Concerns, Culture/ Arts.
The concepts will be realized in small groups under the professional supervision of the lecturer during the four days. The emerging photographs and series can be exhibited after the conference in the public arena in Bonn as placards, on billboards or in form of advertisements and screenings. Ideally, in the framework of the workshop, a team of participants can be formed that would be interested in taking on the visual follow up of the conference in a longer run. Please bring your own camera equipment or mobile phone and, if possible, a laptop with a picture editing program.

Katharina Mouratidi
Katharina Mouratidi (born in 1971) lives and works as a freelance photographer and artist in Berlin. Her projects and features have been published throughout Europe; they have been exhibited in many individual and group shows worldwide, including: Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn (Germany), FotoFest Houston (USA), George Eastman House (USA), Lianzhou Photography Festival (China), Thessaloniki Museum of Photography (Greece), Museo de Arte Moderna Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Primavera Fotográfica (Spain). Since 2009 Katharina Mouratidi is teaching photography at several institutions, among them: Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie as well as Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee. 2011 she was appointed a post as visiting professor there. She is a co-founder of the Society for Humanistic Photography and the organizations executive director since 2008. Her latest book Backstage Heroes has been published by Kehrer Editorial in 2012.
